– organised by Sheffield Labour Left
‘Where now for the left in Sheffield Labour?’
Wednesday, 19 May 2021 at 19:30.
As the dust settles after the local elections with Labour having lost their majority on Sheffield City Council (alongside the disastrous Hartlepool by-election result), and with the continuing shift to the right of the Labour Party under Sir Keir Starmer, the meeting will give left activists in the Labour Party an opportunity to discuss the way forward.
(Labour Parliamentary candidate for North East Derbyshire in 2019.)
(Labour Parliamentary candidate for Rother Valley in 2019.)
(Founding member and on the Executive of ‘Don’t Leave Organise’).
To be chaired by Martin Mayer (SLL Chair).
There will be plenty of time for contributions and questions from attendees.
